WELLsville Veterans Project is 501(c)(3) recognized.
We have received determination from Internal Revenue Service that we are able to receive tax deductible contributions under section 170 of "the Code".
It is possible to make a difference. Each of us has something to offer.
Private sector grants, donations, gifts, and resources are essential components of WELLsville Veterans Project.
As government agencies strain to provide for Veterans' programs, the men and women who served, and now bear the repercussions of combat experience, can be left lacking guidance, care, and other essentials of life for themselves and their families.
Leaving the Military can be stressful, confusing, intimidating. Veterans and their families may be unaware of the services and benefits available for them.
Some Veterans are uncomfortable returning to their home of origin, or may have no home to welcome them.
Contemporary Veteran issues affect each of us. We have the opportunity to affect our future by honoring and caring for our Warriors today.
Each of us can make a difference in the life of a returning Warrior.
Consider what you have to offer a young Veteran--it can be as simple as smiling and saying "hello".
(If you find it challenging to recall what you have to share, send us a message via the commentary space at www.wellvets.org. We welcome sincere participation from compassionate community.)
